Theoretically I am working my %#$ off on summer school... but so far? Not so much. I mean, there's plenty of actual work to do, but I am not in a groove--not in a groove at all. With a huge curriculum project, class presentation, and a final in the next 22 days, I better get in the groove.
I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to the six weeks in between summer school and the fall semester.

For some reason I thought your degree was going to be an intense one year course -- was I mistaken?
Yes, you are mistaken. (How on earth could that have happened? You're never wrong, at least in my eyes.) I am pushing through as fast as I can, but it will take almost two year in total. By this time next year (Lord willing, fingers crossed, and whatever other good luck rituals you can think of), I will have graduated and hired at the local community college for at least part-time work.
